Community Involvement

Lincoln Financial Foundation

With the support of Lincoln Financial Foundation, Lincoln has given back to communities all over the country. Lincoln Financial Foundation awards grants to more than 300 nonprofits each year that empower and improve the lives of many. Contributing to strong, vital communities is not only intrinsic to our values, it’s our responsibility.  

 

We firmly believe that strong economies begin with strong communities, which is why we focus our philanthropic efforts in four strategic areas:

  • Youth education  
  • Human services  
  • Economic & Workforce Development  
  • The Arts  

We want to help narrow the achievement gap in American education through programs that support life-long learning, financial literacy and enhanced student achievement levels. Our goal is to help improve graduation rates across the country and empower people to lead greater lives.

Each year, Through the Lincoln Foundation and our corporate giving, we annually donate approximately $10 million to grantees in our communities.

We helped transform lives through these annual grants by making the following impact:
  • 3 million youth served by education programs. 
  • 1.7 million individuals fed and sheltered.
  • 1.6 million opportunities for access to the arts and arts education.   
  • 1.6 million job training opportunities.
